- Visual inspection
- Conduct a risk assessment & book electrical make safe if required
- Put on appropriate PPE if required
- Walk through with client, taking notes & photos
- Conduct moisture readings
- Extract excess water
- Assess flooring and determine if it is salvageable or non-salvageable
- Remove flooring if necessary
- Supply antimicrobial to stop bacteria growth to either the flooring or the sub floor
- Set up drying equipment
- Return to site between 2-5 days to conduct moisture readings
- Monitor drying and re-position equipment if necessary and remove equipment if the areas is dry
- Re- assess the damaged area & arrange for any damaged fixtures or fittings to be removed eg: vanities
- Organise appropriate trades if required… plumbers, electricians etc.
- Once these have been removed, conduct further moisture testing of the structure
- Conduct any remediation works, cleaning or drying of the structure if required
- Return between 2- 5 days later to assess drying
- Conduct final moisture readings and sign off as dry and authorise re- placement of any items previously removed
- Conduct final cleaning or carpet cleaning
- Hand over site as dry
